Landy owner from Wiltshire here.
I have a 2.25 1971 2a, which needs some TLC, but is original (still has points and the dynamo) and great to drive. Also a TD4 Freelander 1 (daily runaround) and recently acquired a Defender 90 TD5 for towing and fun. Unfortunately the Defender had been pimped slightly with alloys and rock sliders, but I'm replacing them with some good old fashioned steel wheels and plain sills.
ToDo list:
2a: enjoy it. change wheels from spokes to plain steel. Insert roof lining. Check compression. Repair speedo.
Freelander: change thermostat, sort out barbeque under the bonnet, fix rear electric windows, fix parking sensors, fix rear heated window.
Defender: remove rock sliders, replace alloys, refit some EGR pipes (removed by PO), replace rocker cover gasket.
General: Drink beer
