On the spur of the moment, today I have bought a 2003 Freelander 1.8 ES 3 door with 115000 miles on the clock. Being a moaning old git from Southport, and not wanting to spend a fortune, are there any things I should watch out for to prevent problems occurring.

they are renowned for head gaskets , the td4 is the one to go for

just make sure u keep an eye on it

pop over to the freelander section , plenty of info ref the 1.8
