It has always been said you shouldn't leave vehicles to 'Warm up' before driving- they usualy reccommend starting and driving away straight away.

Could be condensation boiling off into steam - more noticable in the colder weather...??

That may well correspond with what a friend told me - that engine oil doesn't do any good until it's up to temp, which is when it's under load, so when you hear the story about the old geezer who had his car for 15 years and started it up every month without driving it, he wasn't actually doing it any favours.

Yes - it is a different driving experience for sure, the landy feels twice as fast though, possibly due to it having to the aerodynamic properties of a housebrick.
Just downloaded the water ingress manual to figure out where the water is coming from that handily pours over my leg occasionally.

I took my disco to the polish to wash the other day, the bloke was mortified when he came to get his money and I'm sitting ther looking like iv just stepped out the shower

Ha! Fair enough. It's only in the last couple of years it has started so I suspect it may be the roof seals. That, or the rusty hole in the bulkhead perhaps.
