Well, I have just cleaned up the red interconnect plug on the ecu/loom assembly and it appears to have cured all underpower and vibration/misfiring problems at the moment. However, there was a LOT of oil in the plug assembly so I expect it will return again shortly. My next step will be to change the injector loom and to give the plug assembly at the ecu a proper good cleaning as opposed to the quick spruce up I've given at the moment.
To get to the point, my question is:
Is there a mod or fix that will prevent this problem occurring in the future or should the new injector loom fix the problem of oil ingress, or will I just have to keep cleaning it every couple of months? Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated.
