Doubt this will be the last trip! Make sure your landys prepared (good recovery points, decent set of tyres ect) and join the next trip

Been a very long time since a played around with CB radios. In my younger years I had one mounted on my push bike. CB was in the car when I bought it and I never used it. Was going to put it in the TD5 but events at home meant it would be easier to take the 300tdi, so yesterday I bought an SWR meter and it was pretty much off the scale. After inspecting the mount and the cable decided they where past there sell by date and purchased a new mag mount from Maplins today. Stuck it on the roof and SWR was bang on the nail!!!

It has quite a long whip aerial and I didn't want to buy a shorter one until I had tried this one. Perhaps a sweepstake might be in order to guess how many times it gets knocked off!!

Woo looking good now were we looking at 8 or 9 people due for this trip?

We'll be there , although not sure which landy we'll be in yet. Rob is eating doughnuts whilst fixing the V8 or maybe it's we can't eat as he's changing a doughnut on the V8 and can't cook tea....who knows. ..either way...I'm figuring the vibes I'm getting from him are not positive at the moment
