Glencoyne engine mounts

Anybody know where I can get the Glencoyne/Bearmach (decent ones) rubbers from for the engine and transmission mounts? I need to replace mine and I’ve read very good reports about these ones specifically, so these are the ones I’d be liking! Ta

I got them directly from Glencoyne. They're superb!

Excellent engine mounts, buy direct from Glencoyne engineering. I originally bought OEM from paddocks but they were so hard engine rattled your fillings, swapped for the Glencoyne ones and it’s not vibrating.

Cheers, I’ll try making contact with him later. I know he gets them in in batches and I think he’s sold out at the moment, worth asking though.

Yes, I’ve heard great things about them, they’re a bit difficult getting hold of though as he’s always selling out!

I’ve just read some new reports that OEM ones are in fact far superior after a while and the Glencoyne ones are naff. So my advice would be swap them back over, send me the Glencoyne ones and I’ll, ahem, dispose of them for you, free of charge!

Yes they do sell out pretty quickly. I was very lucky. he received a batch just in time to coincide with my visit to the UK a few months ago so I made some savings on postage.

With a v8 would it be better with the softer or harder mounts i wonder?

In my experience, harder transferred more vibration through the body

Ive got glencoyne defender mounts in my sereis with tdi and they were a big difference over the original cheapo blue packet ones.
