Got a BP Petrol / Diesel fuel sender from Paddocks to fit to my ex Petrol 2a swb now converted to 200tdi and when I opened the box to fit the sender I found it was in 2 pieces the sender with a bar fitted to it but without the float fitted, a straight bar with a float fitted but not shaped at the sender end and can't work out how to fit it and in the pic I placed my old petrol sender as well, any idea's please as i'm a bit

place both bits together to the same dimensions as the old unit, then solder them together. you should have got several very small clips with the sender to clip the two parts together but I find it better to solder them

I used loads if tiny cable ties to hold mine together cos the small clips fell off and I ran out of diesel.

I use the brass centre bits out of cable connectors, the things with 2 screws in, then you can adjust until its right.

Are right now i understand, mite go with rob's idea as i've got loads of them Chocblocks conectors
