Hi Everyone.
No quips about women in Freelanders please!. Just thought I would introduce myself. I have just acquired a 1999 Freelander Hardtop 2.0TD. It was in a very sorry state but got it for a song. It was full of water and had mouldy seat and interior. After a couple of days of stripping down and cleaning it has come up a treat. I am well pleased with it. I am hoping to pick up a few tips from you guys.

Karen

yippeeee another potential SLAPPER!!! (that's us south-west landyzoners before you take offence at the suggestion!)

Welcome to LZ, hope the freelander continues to impress as much as it already has! Are you up for throwing it around a bit?

Welcome. You'll need new tyres to give lift. 215 75 or 80's ( MAXIMIN YOU CAN GO ON STANDARD FREELANDER) will give you 2" AND YOU WILL HIT UNDER NEATH LESS. BE PREPARED FOR A LOT OF RIBBIN AND PAYIN OUT. CHECK OUT FREELANDER SECTION FOR MORE INFO ON BABY HIPPO. JOHN.
