Its a spec'd cage legal for comp safari and many other diciplins. Not a road vehicle. This is EXACTLY how the bowler boys built their first compers and how many are built.

Its not a bad piece of equipment. If you cannot weld to a high specification its a cheapish way of getting into real motorsport.

2K may well be steep for what you can buy. But its a blank canvass and could be a very sorted motor with some effort put in. Far better have this start and build well once than try and undo all the bodges and lashups a more complete motor for similar money

Seems to be held together with an awful lot of 25x25 RHS!

After doing loads of Comp Safaris in my younger days, I certainly wouldn't rely on that build!!

Its not my cuppa tea not alrc legal but can see that for someone who has room and doesn't mind a project to get to a rolling frame new is circa 1500 if you cannot weld then this might tick those boxes

Incidentally there will soon be an 88 inch rolling chassis with all bodywork needs engine and box and bits n bobs up for sale tagged and logbooked for ALRC comp safari for around £900
