getting worse with thefts

Crash from behind then nicking yer vehicle isn't something new. It's been on the tv many times. Often someone sneaks up the LHS as you get out and you don't see them as they stay low down. Hence why most peeps drive with the doors locked.

Cant believe this actually happens in the UK,nether are cameras all over the place.

Carjacking now? Guess you guys will have to warp your defenders with bars all around and keep some fire extinguishers on board.

I have been driving with locked doors for years, mainly because of stories where some light fingered pikey, opens a door at traffic lights, grabs what he has seen e.g. laptop and legs it into the shopping centre or such.

agree car jacking has been going on here for a long time albeit rare/seemingly rare as you never hear of it that often.

never happened to me personally.

Don't forget the ridiculous law of reasonable force! Best make it a RUBBER spanner

Always keep a can of WD40 handy in ya cab for them sticky situations. I did say fire extinguisher first but somebody beat me to it
And if you happen to be a smoker..... Well.... You can see where this is leading. THEN YOU CAN USE THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
