My P38 has spent three years lying backed up to a tree in someone's garden until I rescued it. Plenty of tfr and a pressure washer has removed most of it, but the back of the car nothing seems to want to shift it. I've tried everything from star drops to G3 cutting compound. The buffer just seems to smear it all around, plus I can't get it into half the areas I need to.
I haven't tried panel wipe or thinners yet as I haven't got any. Tar and glue remover doesn't seem to be having any sort of impact either.

Anybody any good ideas or is it going to mean paying the teenage bratling for several hours elbow grease?

by tree mould do you mean the green stuff that coats the panels in an even coat? i find hot water, fairy liquid and a scrubbing brush works best

That will be the stuff but it seems to have a coating of sap with it as well. Doesn't help that I don't think it had been cleaned for several years previous to that.
I shall give it a go. I shall go ask the misses if we have a scrubbing brush. :)

Ok so that's two votes for caravan cleaner. Bottle now ordered off Fleabay. I'll attack the mouldy interior tommorow instead. Thanks for the advice folks.

The local "hand car wash" I'm banned from after having a rather enthusiastic argument with the owner when one of his mouth breathers decided to scrape the lance up and down the bonnet of my car then deny all knowledge despite fresh flakes of paint. So that is kind of out the question. Hellfrauds I may try tommorow. I need some other cleaning materials.
