Hello,
Yesterday I did a full service.
I also planned to check on the bolt that's holding the oil-pump-chain-drive in place. As more people stated that in some disco's the bolt did come loose, meaning no oil-pressure.
So as I had to do a full oil-change, I undid the sump, but it was impossible to get it out. The front right corner just was stuck behind some iron-tube (looked like cooling-fluid-pipe) tha I was noe able to move.
I wa lukily able to check the tension on the bolt, which was ok.
But as a result I didn't change the gasket.
Anybody knows what the pipe is for?
And how would you be getting the sump off anyway?
Because even with the corner not being stuck, I'm not sure it would have cleared the top of the front axle.
Thanks, Koen
