I re-insured today :D!

My old insurers refunded me 105 quid, no extra charges. Then I went with the quote that A-Plan gave me, which is mod friendly and has green lane and off road cover. It's half my old premium even thought its the same miles cap and fully comp! They even gave me a 13% discount for being a Landyzone member!

So I'm dead chuffed, I've gone from £1300 to under £700 per year. The best thing is that my postcode has a 50% load, so when I move it will get even cheaper!!!!

I'm so happy :D! Mods ahoy :D!

Do remember to check around again come renewel time as a lot of insurance companies put the price up the next year as people think if they were the cheapest this year they will be next year too. I always shop around and then ring up my insurance company and ask em if they want to match the quote or if I need to leave them. 9 times outta 10 they will match it or very near to it but this year I had to change the insurance company on the missus's chav box to another company cos they didn't want to play ball.
 
I'll bear that in mind, I did have quite a few very good quoyes so there is room to move if needed.

Are you are happy with paying £700 !! I insure my Freelander V6 & MG ZS180 for just over half that!!
 
Yes it does, my postcode has a 50% loading. Plus I'm 25. I was paying double that before, so relatively speaking I've done very well.

Dan at A Plan (who is a legend) said that it will go down considerably if I move out of an NG postcode.

Yeh, only parts of Manchester would be worse! Thing is I never ever see undesirables here. There must be some kind of force field or spell - maybe it's like Hogwarts!

All I ever see here are snappily dressed 20 something office girl types :5bdrool5:.
