gems v8 engine re-breathe

when standing in front of the car, at the rear left there is a rubber pipe , coming from rocker cover up 1.5" then across 6" to the side of the plenum chamber.
question 1; what is the part number for this pipe?
question 2, this pipe fits onto a fitting into the plenum chamber, should you be able to blow through this? or pass anything through it? its a six sided nut with a pipe fitting sticking out
any help would be appreciated

as name suggests. only have one arm, can't use a mobile very well, so never learnt how to take pics and put them onto computer, so i have editted the front page to make it easier to know what i am on about.lol

Is it a crank case breather or rocker breather?
It shouldn't be blocked al?

As above it is part of the crankcase breather setup.....and it shouldn,t be blocked.

Stub into plenum should be unobstructed

would spraying carb cleaner into the pipe fitting, clean it out ,without doing any damage, or should i use a small drill?

Depends what it's blocked with. Should only be a bit of oily sludge in there, unless someone's blocked it off deliberately.

took the pipe fitting off of plenum chamber (22mm spanner) tried air at 100 psi no go, carb cleaner just stayed in there,held a small 3mm drill in hand and twisted it gently, when removed , just black stuff on the end so kept going by hand and eventually it went all the way through. cleaned it out completely . refitted it started car, you could feel the suction from it.temporarily fitted pipe to rocker cover, blew through it ok.
refitted cleaned out rubber pipe and job done.

Did you remove/ clean the separator as well? If it's been sitting there with nothing blowing/ sucking through it, it's likely to be bunged up as well

where is the separator?
mine just has one pipe from rocker cover to plenum side on left and one pipe from rocker cover to air intake on right side ,all pipes and rocker covers now blow through easily

Inside the tube in top of rh rocker cover that the hose pushes over. I linked to it above

there is not one of them plastic spiral things anywhere on my car
if it should have one or two i will have to get them

just spoke to range rover, parts dept, it is only fitted to some deisel engines not on my 4.0 se

The Gods in the Parts Department need to look in their parts manual then. All the P38 V8's have them...
It's the thing I've highlighted in yellow and it goes where I've put the red arrow.

thats not my rocker covers, that looks like a thors engine not gems
1, my filler neck is on the front right cover
2, my breather pipe(11) is not that shape, its more like item 14 with the last couple of bends cut off.
