Disco 2 Gearbox questions

A few, auto.

At one stage it felt like it was slipping, but only happened the once, may have been tc unlocking.

What is gearbox slipping like?

Changes got a bit lumpy after 50 miles of driving, but perfect after a break.

Could it be lots of hilly roads with lockup not engaging ?

Trying to make sure it is not heading to a rebuild next few months.

Run a stall test on it then you'll have an ideea

Does sound a bit weird, like it might just need a fluid and filter change. Unless you've done that recently.

Stall test near 3000 as usual. Note remapped.

I suppose an oil change is due

I'd rather suppose that you have to rebuild that box cos it's a sign of clutch slip as those figures can be lower not higher

I thought it was due to the silly little torque converter
