Disco 2 Gearbox problem

afternoon all. My 2002 Discovery Td5 has had a gearbox replacement. It’s managed 300 miles, now it goes into first and that’s it; other than reverse. No lights on the dash incidentally. Any advice would be appreciated.

Take it back to whoever supplied/fitted?

Um the issue may be electrical.

When you say 1st,

Will it only go into 1st on the manual selection?

Maybe an iffy electrical loom connection, D2 auto have a ratio indicator bulbs in the dash don’t they, is that the light u mentioned? or loss of fluid

Coincidence or just bad luck. The g/box was replaced 2 weeks ago. Did 300 miles then packed up
