Hey all, quick question. I believe I have a discovery lt77 gear box in my defender 90. I have been told that the box has been fitted with a syncro slick shift. My issue is that almost every time I select first that I engage reverse. There is no push down or feeling of a plunger when I push down and left. It is really frustrating tbh and I been online and think it could be a seized plunger but I am open to suggestions guys. Thanks for your help in advance

There is no plunger or push down effect on the LT77. There is however a spring at the base of the gear lever which you push harder against to get reverse. Not sure how good access is on a defender so you may need to remove the transmission tunnel to get to it
