Gearbox mod

Hope someone can help there was a thread a while ago re adapting the disco r380 to defender by machining an adapter and fitting the defender quadrant onto the disco box, my question is can this be done on the lt77 as well as I have just got hole of a nice lt77s v8 disco box and I have a few defender lt77 boxes sitting around and want to convert the v8 lt77s to defender spec for when I fit my v8?

lt77s can be converted too using lr parts but not without special tools so above mod is the best way

Thanks James was hoping you would see this top man, am a happy bunny know just another quick one the lt77s has fittings near the rear for an oil cooler should I fit a cooler or can these be blanked off?

oil cooler is best ,but you can use bypass dont blank ,the cooler adapter or bypass are the same for r380 ,ive plenty of either
