i did a favour for a member and drove 100 mile round trip to pick him up a gearbox/xfr box and bring it up to leeds.. i paid the 80 quid for it..

he was supposed to collect it but he aint and i been waiting since mid december..

i've texted etc and had numerous conversations which usually end with him saying he will try get to me asap.. until now... texted on 1st and no response..

so, think its time i flogged it n got my muny back.. now i kno its from a disco and that he was gonna put it in his 90 which has had a disco engine fitted and he had do weld something to move the gear lever? is it the bias plate?

what i need to kno is.......... what gearbox it is?

how do i identify it?

dunno, i'll have to go have a look.. when its light

what are the options? as there is no knob on the top of leaver i'll have to have a wiggle and see where it will go...

right and back like my disco would mean?

what other options for reverse are there?

Dunno...I gorra Series  but I think it's left/forward =lt77 and right/back R380

Someone'll be along in a minute to get it right ;)

For lt 77 if it goes left all the way like your going into 1st forward but there isn't a gear behind it. Then there should be 2 rows of gears and 5th fully right and forward but nothing behind.

If that makes sense
