So when i got my disco 2 the gears were very sloppy, thought id treat my self to a synchro gears shot shifter. When in the box i noticed the bush was missing. So new one ordered and replaced with snap ring. First time out after fixing loose gears about 2 hours in. Strip down again and the bush and the ball has gone. Luckily managed to fish it out with a magnet.
Sooooooo, my questions are. Does any know of an uprated yoke bush and clip?? Was thinking about epoxying the bush in, good or bad idea? and how if this might be a regular thing how would you stop the bush and the ball falling right out?? Did not do this with out the short shift as the gear stick was lower.
