Gear Selection Issue

Hi I have a 95 range Rover classic soft dash 4.2l v8 and I'm having a problem with the gear selection being off here's a video of what I mean let me know what you think it could be thanks

if gears select but dont correspond with the indicators try checking cable securing block on the mount and the lever and cable at the box if ok adjust the cable

Where is that located?

lhs of box,cable is clamped to the mount it can slip ,where cable secures to lever on box and whether its ok will be obvious cable adjusts at the lever

Ok thanks and may I add it only does this on reverse drive 3rd 2nd and 1st gear all work fine but the shifter kinda feels loose it moves back and forth unlike a normal shifter that's firm and you can distinctively feel it when it goes into a selection

it will be the cable or perhaps in the shifter mechanism
