hi i have a td5 03 plate automatic and i have been having probs with it not going into gear it is not happening all the time it is just now and then has anyone got any ideas plz

How long you had it, mileage on it and what you've put on and how much maintenance has been done on it???

start by changing the fluid in the auto box, cheapest solution first. then maybe check your selector linkage.
