gear box oil change

drained the gear box and transfer box oil , put some new oil in canny believe what a differance its made to me 90, easier gear change and seems to pull a bit better. well chuffed

Did all of my oils in June and same as you, what a difference especially to the main gearbox, gear changes are a lot more positive and easy to find. Transfer box is quieter.
Think anyone with gearbox noise or niggles should do their oils first before looking for other expensive problems.

On the other side of the coin, i had an excellent gear box; till i changed the oil. Now it grinds real bad in second, somtimes compleatly rejecting the selection.

Well, as the old saying goes: If it aint broke, dont fix it!
