Gear adjuster rods

hi all
I have freelander 1 td4 diesel 2006. My gear stick literally becomes totally useless. I am told the gear adjuster rods in this model ware out. Seemingly there is a plastic ball joint which eroded. Has anyone the rods or knows where I can source the two rods
