Freelander TD4 External Gear Linkage Rods

HELP! I have a Freelander TD4 2006 and last week my gear box failed and its stuck in first gear. My local garage said it needs new/replacement external gear linkage rods BUT I cannot seem to source these from anywhere. Land Rover no longer make the part.
Any advise gratefully received!!

Unfortunately it's a case of second hand parts, or have something fabricated / cobbled together to make them work.
