Been quite a lot of talk on Parabolix recently, and I was ment to post this a few weeks ago, but you know how it is...

Anyway brought a set from GB, fitted them and noted obvious performance gains that a few have posted, however I wanted to let you all know what happened in terms of customer service...

When I unpackaged then there where nasty scratches from where 2 of the springs where rubbing togeather (no seperated with packers).

I phoned up company and was passed on to MD (I forget his name)...

...Next thing I know HE is in his car and driving to give me a tin of paint and lots of humble appologies!!!!

NOW THATS WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot recommend this company enough, I mean how many others would do the same?

Maybe he doesnt want to end up with a name like the blue box people!
How much better does it ride?

Difference is unbelievible...

..Only thing is they are about 50% softer than standard springs, so it a bit of a door handle scraper around corners... But they are so active. I have also jacked it with extended shackles and fitted Pro comp +2's (on V8 jons reccomendation) absolutly amazing.

Oh check out a few of Jon's vids on youtube...

You forgot to tell everyone how cheap the GB springs are ;)
If anyone is thinking of buying a set of parras....then buy from GB...you wont be disappointed :D

Couldn't agree more with all the positive comments about GB Springs - spoke to MD myself when ordering mine Peter or Paul Johnstone I think his name was? very impresswed with his knowledge, customer service price and performance of the springs!!!!!!

Mine have been on for about 7-8 years now with plenty of serious offroad action and are still going strong.when they eventually give up I'll definitely be getting some more.

Good to hear that you liked the paras max, when are we gonna hear that throbing V8 in action? :D

I Must concur with the above co-respondents. I bought some about 6 weeks ago , polite helpful chaps delivered the springs right to the vehicle. £240 all in. no problems at all.
And... it doesn't roll as much as before. I don't know how but they are very good indeed.
10 out of 10 for GB springs

Yeah the para's are amazing - good recommendation!!!!!!!!!

the engine, Ohhh, she close now..!

Did you see pictures of Modified heads on profile page? Scary!!!!!

Just have a little bit of head ache with roller rockers, they are too tall for rocker covers!! Will be fitting spacers.

New G/box in this weekend,

But I think it will be first start, next weekend......

i did a massive amount of research when looking into buying para's, and into weather or not it should be para's, (but thats a new discusion!)
i found alot of negative comments about lots of companys and this probably helps to tarnish the para's reliability and practicality, (especially with the commited leaf spring people), then i came across the GB company and i dug and dug but still cant find a bad word said about them,
hats off to you lads at GB.

might have to upgrade one day... i have cheap and cheerful paddocks parabolics.

they do for now... but by the sounds of things the GB ones would be far better
