Tractor boys always on about the Gaylander being ****e. . . .well i totally disagree , they is fantastic in the snow [better than a standard fender] as they are to heavy ,passed quite a few slippin un er sliding :) :) :) wiff a durty pig in the back. . . . .so how is your Gaylander doing ? :D:D:D exspect a deluge of Tratter responce ;)

don't have to worry about engaging 4wd in a freelander so you just drive normally and don't loose traction. No need to stop or play with levers and when 4wd is no longer needed it goes back to 2wd all by it's self, brilliant.

Mine has been great too, driving all around somerset and the mendips, havent had a problem. Especially with my new tyres!

Cheap set of camac 195s on 15" wheels loads of grip but some of the drifts were a bit of a struggle

Needless to say, mines been brilliant. Exactly what I bought it for as I've got this fairly steep hill to climb to get home. Why would anyone want anything else.

You can't better excellence!

Ours has been great in the snow - I even had the idea of buying an old 1.8 petrol to act as a back up in the winter weather as the wife tends to use 'ours'

Not sure if that is going too far though:lol:

My missus has definitely taken to using my freeby in the snow - have to fight her for it now and usually lose :(

Maybe I should just let her have the freeby and use that as an excuse to get a Disco or summat???

One landy never seems to be enough :D

same here, i bought the commercial back in september got a steal of a deal aswell.
Totally got my moneys worth out of it in this weather havent been stuck once, infact i've been nipping about all over the place picking up takeaways etc when everybody else is stuck... ha ha ha ha

Now the missus is looking for a normal freelander for herself and even my mum was saying yesterday that she wants a commercial the same as mine.
