Im not quite ready to go to the darkside yet, but may have available funds in a year or so, now the gaylander has lots of electrical things that can and do go wrong, so am I correct in thinking, defenders dont get those, as they dont have all those mod cons??

only thing that worrys me is prices, some Ive seen at like 6k upwards way out of my wanted price range, Id probably only want to pay a max of 3k, but at that price, will it be a real $hitter???

Don't ferget the electric windows.

Edit: oops it dun't have those either.

I bought my defender for under 3k, needs cosmetic work doing which I am doing & loving !! but mechanically & structurally it is fantastic & it also has low mileage for a defender so yeh 3k should get you something decent just have to be very picky could take you a few good months to find the right 1

btw dont be fooled by a pretty paint job !
