Galvy - buy or DIY

Hi guys im planning on a galvy rebuild of my 90, I was planning on buying a chassis from marsland but ive recently sourced a steel chassis that is a minter no rot at all it really is solid.

so now im thinking money, a marsland will cost me around 1300, but the guy only wants 3 ton for the chassis so once its bought shot and dipped I reckon it will come in at around 7 to 8 ton.

just wanna pick your brains as to whether going the diy route would be as good as just buying one, mainly wanna know will it last as long etc

Is said chassis brand new?
Has it ever had an id?
Marshall chassis can be given your vehicle's vin numbers, but a second hand chassis can not, so would have to be the original vin number from it's original 90.

No the said chassis isnt new its used, but is solid, i just wanna know if i get it blasted and dipped would ut be as good as a galvy one from marsland ?

and you have the name address and signed receipt as to where you got the chassis from? and the official paper work that comes with a used chassis?

Marshland use brand new steel.
Yours is old and corroded
