galvanised chassis and bulkhead where and how much?

was wondering where the best and cheapest place is to get a galvanised chassis and bulkhead from.. also getting it fitted and prices etc, i got my insurance pay out from my motorbike accident soon and its allready burning a hole in my pocket.

thats not as bad as i was thinking, will have to give them a call and see about bulkhead etc cheers for the info

They say they will fit other bits as they go and a bulkhead will cost you about £250-300 (you could try getting it galvied too but they warp terribly) so you should get the whole lot done and fitted for well under 3K.

They can warp badly but a decent galvaniser will know the correct method to minimize the risk. Simple things like allowing it to cool on its own and not dunking it in the water can avoid distortion. (Apparently anyway.)

SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeesh kebabs, fookin £800 for a bulkhead - get one for a coupla 3 hundred, galvie it for another hundred - wow there's some profit there!!!

it could possibly be saved but the front has had it the front x member (under the rad) has been mangled at some point god knows how, and the ends where the bumper mounts on have seriously had it. on the passanger side its right back to the suspension mount almost i can find the ends i need but nothing else(x member etc) or do i have to just plate it up and weld it?
