Gained 5 MPH!!!

Not a great deal in the grand scheme of things granted, But just by changing me fuel filetr, air filter and cleaning out me intercooler i get an extra 5 mph when accelarating which means 30 mph 2nd to 3rd, 40 mph 3rd to 4th, and 55mph before i go for 5th! and thats not caining it, im well impressed me
not sure how that racksup against the rest of 200tdi 90 drivers?

hmmm, i have a 90 with a tdi200 disco conversion

i change upto 4th at 40mph and 5th at 50mph. it pulls like a train at these speeds. i dont think changing up at faster speeds would make it accelerate any quicker.
It can cruise all day at 70mph now ive changed the fuel and air filters, before that flat out it would struggle to top 70.

Funny in't it. Despite the fact that my 2.5td is generally accepted to be inferior to a tdi, those figures sound eerily familiar

i concur with hughesy, i to had a 2.5td on a G plate that wasnt too far away from what the tdi is althoughthe tdi is alot smoother!
