Fuse blows when I press my horn

Since i have had the car if i press the horn quick all is fine..... If an Idiot driving around gets in my way and i want to HOLD the horn the fuse will go pop, and I replace the fuse.

Any one know why? lol

why does it happen? well im guessing due to using more amps than your fuse alows! why it keeps happening to you??? your guess is as good as mine!:doh:

I have this problem, Just purchased a land rover with the horn connected to a retro fitted button, previous owner said the fuse kept blowing when he pressed the horn.

You should have two horns. Could it be that one is faulty?

My classic did this.

I changed the horn for a new one. Job done.

I didnt know that, I do know he cut away part of the grill to get to the horn instead of removing it !
