It keeps blowing and I can't work out where the issue is, could it be brake or reverse switch?

Or is it more likely the bulbs, I have replaced a blown reverse lamp, but the fuse has blown again.

This car has reverse sensors on it too, could that be the issue?

Could it be the tow electrics?

I'm just getting to know this car so bare with me

Cheers

Ive had fuse 25 blow twice in the past month, ive checked bulbs holders etc but havent found anything amiss, its been fine for last week let us know if you find the problem.

Do you get the difflock light come on the dash when the fuse blows?

No diff lock light or at least I haven't noticed, if the diff lock light comes on could that be gearbox related and tied into the reverse light system?

First thing I'm gonna try is remove reverse bulbs, I've read that the wires can rub through from the switch in the gearbox.

It will blow quite rapid on mine so next move is tow electrics and a coating of wd40 for them.

Then remove brake lights.

I'm hoping it doesn't get that far but if it does I will then have to replace the switches.

I might make an adaptor from an old bulb to be able to put a bulb in the cab to see the brake lights

What i should of said was.. when my fuse blew..the difflock light came on when i pressed the brake pedal and when i put it in reverse.
It must be just a daft way of telling ya your brake light fuse has blown.

I have changed the high level brake light, when I took out the old one and flicked it the filament disintegrated, it was working prior to removal and was slightly darkened on the glass, I'm going to assume all is fine now as its worked fine all day and not blown a fuse.

Check all bulbs and flick them see if they are on they're last legs

I had that fuse blow and diff lock light first time we towed a trailer - turns out there was a short in the trailer wiring so I re wired it.
Worth looking at the towing electrics IMHO given they are an add on, might be more vulnerable to problems.
