fuse 11

when fuse 11 is in, does it sepaerate the front and back axles or just the transfer box/gearbox/engine from the axles?

when towing rangey to yard today with fuse 11 in i heard a humming, its definately drivetrain related increases with speed, and is steady. its not overly 'worring' or grinding. it sound a bit like tyre noise, but i think it could be diff related.

i hope it is tyre noise though as these are due for replacement!

oh and just to update those of you who care, got passenger side head off, nearly got other head off, an i have tried it with leaving ex manifolds on, it seems harder than taking em off as the bolts catch on the manifold and the socket isnt easy to get on the head of the bolt!:doh:

thought that bag-o-spanners would have rotted away by now....

i think it just separates the transfer from the main gearbox gav,might be humming if it,s been sat a while without running
