Full exhaust costs from £1500 - £186!

Afternoon every one, dull, grey horrible day so just munching along on the internet, I know my Freelander needs a new back silencer and the centre one could do with replacing for its April MOT so I thought I,d checkout some prices, genuine Landrover full system, £1500! Rimmer Bros £186! I know its aftermarket mild steel from Rimmer but hens teeth what a difference! Im thinking of upgrading from my 1.8 petrol 03 reg to something with more power in the summer so has anyone any views on the aftermarket systems? If I end up keeping my present Hippo any views would help. Thanks evrey one.

Nothing wrong with aftermarket systems.
A lot of original systems are supplied by companies such as Bosal.

Land Rover do not have an Exhaust, filter, tyre, battery, nut and bolt, light bulb etc. etc. etc. manufacturing plant !!

There are some brands that are better than others. I just can't remember the better ones. Bosal are good though

Mines been sounding rough for the past 3 weeks - now saving hard lol not been very far either for a while trying to buy time

Thanks for your replies fella,s, guess my Hippo is only worth about £2500 cash value, a million times more in emotional value!! so I,m going for the cheaper option, Bosal, and take a leaf out of Bracks book, should do the trick I hope, MOT on the 9th April so fingers crossed.
