Hi all,
Have some minor issues with our Disco SII ES, since our last one was written off, we promptly seen a sutible one, and went and got it was brilliant other than the common stuff
The last few weeks its mpg has plumeted .... To levels of the wifes Subaru will nearly as economical, we discovered it had a fuel leak at the filter itself, and since sorting it its increased but its still low in comparison, to our last one it was avg 28 - 31mpg post EGR removal an KnN filter fitted. Our current 21-26 just with the KnN fitted ...... Put a treatment in and took for a spirited drive as getting up the rev range it was very smoky and there was a slight stutter as it got well up the revs. Normal pottering about its fine it pulls well, on hill starts its fine, there is also a droning while driving thinking the clutch will be needing done soon as the bite on the clutch is very low can this effect the mpg?????
To add its had a sevice in the last month
