little update .

i changed intank fuel pump i now have fuel to the engine however no fuel at injectors .

i bleed the clear fuel line to engine as it had bubbles in , cranked open an injector asked wifey to crank engine in various ways IE constant cranking intermittent only when glow plug light was on and normal engine starting style , i even cracked open all injectors and still nothing .

i pulled a pipe off one of the injectors and some fuel dribbled out  but nothing out the injector pipes .
anyone any ideas ?

Stop solenoid issues or the BeCM and the Engine ECU are out of sync and require resyncing - Faultmate, Nano, Hawkeye or Syncmate needed...

the wire to stop solenoid has been cut and was running fine this way .

would the ECU/BECM go out of sync that easily ?

On the Diesels it is rare but does happen...the petrols seem to lose sync regularly...

If you have good flow to the filter from the new pump, but nothing from the FIP to the injectors, most often it is solenoid or sync issues!

whatever has been done to it was done prior to me getting it and has worked fine (when its working) as it is .

Stop solenoid does not actually stop engine the ECU does that by closing fuel quantity valve. Stop solenoid is just a back up in case of function fail in pump. But if it has no power to it, either piston is seized in open position or it has been removed. Otherwise engine would not run. Maybe it was seized and has dropped that's why it won't start. Whip it out and take a look. Be careful bits can fall out.
