hi can any one tell me the wiring colours for the fuel sender unit on a series 3

Petrol - green/black to sender, earth via sender body.
Diesel - green/black to sender, White/green to low fuel switch, earth via sender body.
The new sender units all seem to have three terminals and until I get my hands on one I can't tell you which terminal does what!

yes its a new one that i am fitting to an ex 24 volter which i have converted to and 12v with a 200tdi in it.
