Hi. I've noticed today that the fuel rail pressure test point is leaking on my gems 4.6. Is it possible to change the valve?
Thanks in advance.
Jas.

Yes the actual seal is probably different, I've not checked
Out of curiosity and to see what LR would charge for a valve l looked in my disco parts catalogue for the number and surprise it’s no listed, or I can’t find it shown on the fuel rail pictures.
As u say it just a Schrader valve then the valve :)
And so may just need a slight a nip to stop any leak, not unknown with with tyres in my past fitted with an inner tubes that leaked :(

Cheers guys. I have a Schrader valve extractor somewhere, I think. I used to use it for refrigeration systems repairs. I'll see if it'll fit tomorrow and post my results here.

I have a extraction tool and also is somewhere. For £3.25 I purchased 10 of them a few years ago to hand out to mates, kept two for myself but I haven’t a clue where they might be, never been used it was a “just in case” tool so I must go on a search in my toolboxes :)

Change my own bike tyres so the extractor gets regular use
