lowered the fuel tank the other day and broke a couple of the plastic fuel pipe connectors that go from the fuel pipe to the tank in my 110 2004 td5.

I eventually found the part numbers, problem is that you cant just buy the silly little connectors, you have to buy the complete fuel line, i have been quoted £180 plus vat for the green line and £70 plus vat for the black line, so over £300 for new fuel lines just cause i broke a couple of plastic connectors.

Having spoken to a couple of people who just cut the broken line out and added some fuel pipe connectors to the system, i feel thats the better and truthfully, way cheaper option for me.

Does anyone have the internal/external diameter of the defender fuel lines, i dont have the tools to measure the lines myself, so i can order some connections for them.

Welcome to my world of pain when doing a td5 x member and the fuel line brakes:eek:
I machine an adapter to go into the fuel sender/pump unit with a hose tail on the end, but unfortunately I dont have the measurement writen down and I havent had one go for a long time now so I cant remember.
Its all a tight fit on a 110 td5 though

Sure is, theres no way im spending £300 just cause a couple of plastic fittings break, im currently scouring ebay and the breakers yards to find the fittings, then i can join them into the fuel line using some connectors.
