Remember that slacking injector pipes stops the injectors from firing, and that may mean the noise doesn't happen.
This does NOT mean it is the injector for sure - but it MIGHT be.
I am bothered that slacking the TWO injector pipes on 1 & 2 stops the noise.
I need to think that one out!
Meantime try to BORROW two known good injectors, and swap them for the ones you think affect the problem. 1 & 2.
Run the engine.
If all is well, take out YOUR other two injectors 3 & 4, and fit your 1 & 2 in their place.
Run the engine.
You can work out the rest yourself.
