Fuel flow direction ?

Just been doing a leakoff test on sisters Freelander TD4 auto, as its suddenly decided to be a bit of a job to start . All glow plugs OK, battery OK crank speed OK
Fuel pumps OK , Filter NEW.
Made up a "Angeloc" bleed off rig , and tried the ign on no crank test first , got a load of fuel out of the bleed off return line , ? bit surprised by that , is it normal ? Coz im thinking its not ?
When I plugged that then got about 5ml from Inj 1 in the time it takes for the pumps to stop. Nothing at all in the other three.
Then tried with inj plugs connected and still nothing in 2,3, 4 but about 20ml in 30 secs cranking on number 1 . Couldn't try running as didn't start !

Unable to connect Hawkeye, as back with Bearmach , as not working !

Hi you have to clamp the return line which is unplugged otherwise fuel comes out of it.

Sounds as if number 1 injector has gone
