hi everyone, had a bad leak out of a new fuel filter (washer was crumpled up ) took it out and tightened up sensor fitting, started engine,it run for about 10 seconds (no leak) then cut out,will not start,seems to be no fuel is getting through now,help john. john4wwf

assuming it is a diesel did you fill the filter with diesel before you put it back on?

hi,its a 1998 td5 discovery,i only took off the electric connection and then unscrewed the sensor fitting then tightened it back up again,thanks
