Hello everyone! Does anyone know if it's possible to disconnect the fuel burning heater?

Its fitted behind the front bumper on the nearside, never tried to disconnect one before so not sure on the easiest way in, try by removing the front part of the wheel arch liner and get yer arm in there or, if you cant get to it, the bumper will have to come off which aint a bad job.

Don't pull the fuse in case the FBH fuse runs other circuits, which knowing land rovers wiring, it probably does.
 
un jist pull electrical connections off un tape em up good un propper un make sure they is tied safe :) :) :)

If you have a fbh and are fed up with poor fuel economy in winter, - leave heeater setting on cold when leaving car - it wont fire up and prime itself when you park up.

but sadly it doesn't stop it making a noise and firing up as soon as you try to apply any heat !
ok earthling will draw up a mod . . . . after i have fixed the rockits tratter un slitty atomisin weapon . . . . .now i jist dropped themal iconic modulatin valve :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
ok , thermocople ,,its the device that measures the temperature,mounted somwhere in the front bumper (i think) when it detects temp below 5deg c fbh will start
