Thank you sir :) Working on the simple theory I have a heated front screen then I have a FBH! I started it up after I changed the header tank last Saturday and there was noise not unlike the central boiler from the near side that ran on for a while after I stopped the engine - this thread explains what that was. Now to have a look at the above links for a remote starter for it, nice warm and toasty car is going to beat multiple layers of bike gear.

You should see the exhaust from the FBH sticking out just inside the passenger wheel and a little for ward of it.

Picking your brains again Nodge - I looked briefly over the remote start threads, I'll read them properly later but as I am a lazy so and so at times, is there a kit I can buy and fit you know of?

There was an LR kit, but it was hideously expensive. I used a cheap and simple remote switch of eBay, which works perfectly.
You can also get a more expensive remote switch which also has a 30 minute timer, so preventing the unit running the battery down. There's also an output from the FBH ECU, which can be used to turn the heater blower on when it's up to temperature. I've got that installed too, so my car is warm and de-misted after 20 minutes of FBH running.
