Front tyres rubbing on full lock

Hi, 1993 110 fitted with alloy wheels from an early discovery, on full lock tyres are hitting the bar thingy that run back to the chassis, is it just a case of fitting spacers? if so any recommendations on thickness. Thanks for any help in advance. ...oh tyres are a sane AT pattern so no outrageous knobblies as such

yep did that and its full of responses ...such as well mine dont rub. So I thought that if some individual was holding the information they might just say ....so is it ok to ask?

Try searching for "stop locks" then adjust em.

what size tyre do you have?

and yeh, follow MHM advice, that's all you need to adjust...(depending on tyre size)

235 85 16 tyres, the nut adjustment would appear straight forward enough, I'll go and have a look at it ...when it stops raining.

yea i had the same prob on a 110 and a 90 and i just adjusted the stop nuts and all was good

untill ya tried a 3 point turn

i have bfg 265/75/16 and mine are ok, id have a look at the bolts, mabi give em a tweek, ask a mate to do steering while you adjust em
