Hi Pete.If to you remove the four torque boltsT40 I think, same as the ones that hold it to the Car and take the back off,you have to release the cover, its held with a long plastic clip and a couple of steel spring clips. A hook makes the job easier. Then turn the base over and remove the four smaller torque bolts that hold the metal frame to the base, then it's just more metal and plastic clips to release the cover sides.it's then held by hog rings and steel wire if its easier for you once the frame is off its not too heavy so if if you want to send it to me complete I'll sort it out and pay any extra. Cheers, make the missus number one priority first.Stay safe.Still got all fingers now got to strip seat bottom out do I have to remove the 2 big bolts that seem to hold the cover in place
Tell her to take it easy, when my model had the same opp.I was time served on the hoover and got a Michelin star in the kitchen.Might be a good idea get her up an running
Thinking about when I took mine apart I saw some scaring on a couple of the bolts i guess someone in the past had shocked them using a chisel or punch to get them cracked off.Cheers Alan tried same torx driver won’t work will av another go tomorrow put some penatrating oil on overnight
