Hi
I have a face lift 2009 range rover sport se and would like to fit front parking sensors to it. I have been told the wiring is in place behind the head light ? Is this true and how easy would it be to fit

Many thanks for any response

Are you telling me they don't come as standard ?

If the wiring is there, you will probably need to fit the parking sensor ECU and configure using diagnostics

It's a standard 2009 sport but as I understand it they updated it that year and it is the updated model which did not come with front sensors as standard

Oooh I see....

SE Models didn't have Parking Sensors then??

As per Hippo's comment, you can eithergo for an aftermarket jobby, or if you fir OEM LR parts a) expect a big bill and b) you'll need the ECU even if the wiring is there.

I believe the wiring looms for all specifications and models is generic, and they only plug in the bits that are fitted to the car at build....so it is likely you have the wiring loom...just not the electrical gubbins to go with it!

Not sure wether the BCU will need to be told you have parking sensors or not mind!
