Ok, I know I'm being a pain in the @rris here. Because, I can't bring myself to drill holes in my galv chassis. When I rebuilt my Landy I was left with a bit of an issue with the front mudflaps. Still haven't done anything about it :( Went out laning the other day (day after storm Eleanor) and got absolutely caked in mud and spent an hour washing the mud out of the mud traps today. Obviously, that brought my attention to the lack of front mud guards and front outrigger vulnerability to stones etc being thrown off the front wheels. :(
I'm thinking I could use small SS bolts to fix a cut off mud guard to the plastic inner wheel arch or cable tie something to the outriggers and fix a mud guard to that? This must be something that others have experienced, unless I'm the only one soft @rs_d enough not to drill holes in their new chassis.
Anyone got any tried solutions? Cheers.

No idea how to link like the above thread.

Looks like it bolts to the inner wing.

Or get yourself some rubber matting and cut it to the shape you want

I just used some old 2mm abs plastic i had lying around, pop riveted it in place. Seems to be working rather well!

Ebay universal mud flap material.
Cut yours to length & stainless brackets into inner wheel arch.

Thats exactly what I made but cost £7 instead of £30...
Cheers, gents.
I do like the look of those ones on ebay. I'm just having the internal scrooge battle about paying for those or making my own. Probably make my own

Ebay 232383851510
More flexible & easy to cut.
Used to clamp between wing & bulkhead. Leave 3" sticking out stops flying mud going down the full length of the car on full lock. This is modification is on my racer but would work on road.
@Al203 U not green landing today?

I could be tempted to buy those. The stuff I've been looking at all seems to have anti slip tread patterns on it
I've been looking through my old pictures. Drivers side mudflap was still there.

Passenger side was already snapped off.

Can't zoom in that well on these pictures, but it looks like the originals fitted on a bracket that was fixed to the underside of the outrigger. I'm putting mine in fron to stop the galv on the outrigger getting machine gunned off the tyre.

No green laning today, mate. The fields are flooded up here. Big expanses of water all over. Great fun to play in, but will churn canny tracks in to the lanes. I'm going to be a good lad let them dry out a bit.

I thought about this and concluded that If i can see it I can clean it, so I left it alone.
