Front hub replacement

Does any know of/have/point me in the direction of a step by step guide to replacing te fron hub on me classic? ifound this below but nothing for a classic.
Ps is this hard to do?
Hub and Wheel Bearing Replacement (Range Rover 4.0/4.6/P38)

I know it's not a classic Range Rover,but I found it a very useful and helpful site,with plenty of excellent photos in step by step operation.

The Classic and the P38 hubs are totally different so I am afraid the guide you have found is no use. Why do you need to replace the hub ? If its because you have some play, it may be you just need to adjust the pre-load on the swivel bearings, or replace the main hub bearings. Both these jobs are reletivly easy and are well detailed in the Haynes manual. Failing that there are several online guides. Search for "swivel bearing pre load" and "hub bearing"

Am in the process of replacing both front wheel bearings. Have done the r.h. and have the l.h. stripped ready to press the bearing out on Monday when I go to work. You need access to a Hydraulic press at least 25 ton capacity, ours at work is 30 ton and just managed to pop the old bearing out. Hard part is getting the hub off the swivel they get rusted on and it's a hammer and big chisel job to break the joint then dress it up afterwards and put pleanty of copper grease on prior to assembly.Luckily, I had mine off about 2 years ago to do the axle end oil seals so this time they were not too hard to remove.It may seem butchery, but there is no other way you can break them. Forget WD40 & Plus Gas, it's muscle I'm afraid that shifts them.
